Demonstrating its versatile engineering capabilities in delivering clean energy solutions for both residential and agricultural sectors, Taqat Aliraq Almutajadeda Company for Trading & Maintenance Conditioning (ENERGCO) has announced the successful implementation of two tailored solar power projects for Private Estates and Farms.
The comprehensive enterprise was executed in two major phases during the autumn of 2025, deploying a combined, high-performance clean energy infrastructure:
-
Phase I: Empowering Smart Irrigation (September 2025) To modernize the estate’s agricultural infrastructure, ENERGCO installed a sophisticated 42.6 KW solar power system dedicated entirely to powering a heavy-duty agricultural water pump. This innovative irrigation solution ensures an uninterrupted water flow for crops, while fully eliminating reliance on expensive fossil fuels and slashing routine maintenance costs.
-
Phase II: Achieving Residential & Agricultural Energy Independence (October 2025) Expanding on the initial success, the team commissioned a second 42.6 KW integrated solar system designed with advanced engineering to provide a highly stable, continuous grid alternative. This system powers the main residential estate and its interconnected agricultural facilities, ensuring absolute operational stability under diverse weather conditions.
“These projects perfectly illustrate how clean energy can revolutionize Iraq’s agricultural landscape while elevating rural living standards,” stated an ENERGCO spokesperson. “By combining a total capacity of over 85 KW across these installations, we have enabled El-Haj Othman to achieve complete energy self-sufficiency, proving that eco-friendly alternatives are both economically viable and operationally superior.”
With these successful deployments, ENERGCO continues to set a benchmark for smart, climate-resilient infrastructure in Iraq, empowering local farmers and landowners with safe, reliable, and cost-effective energy solutions.
